Unicorns vs. Goblins

Curriculum Connections: Language Arts

Students will read Unicorn vs. Goblins and look for interesting or unfamiliar adjectives. Students will also analyze special lettering in the text that creates emphasis or context for particular words. Students will then complete an activity demonstrating an understanding of each word’s meaning and how visual presentation in comics’ fonts affects tone.
